Visual Material of the Year
Ball "Sapnis pavasara naktī"
This poster, created for the 2024 Spring Ball, is unprecedented in all of RSU SU. Very beautiful spring colors and tones that collectively complement the entire essence of the poster. The elements used and their colors also harmonize well, and the gradient accents that make the poster warmer are even more beautiful. Definitely a nomination-worthy visual design.
Annual Awards “Zelta pakavs”
The visual design of the Annual Awards ceremony is created with the aim of highlighting excellence, tradition, and symbolism. The dark green background and golden details create a classic and prestigious atmosphere that resonates with the event's idea – to honor students, achievements, and supporters who, with their work, have brought success, development, and achievements to RSU SU. The central element – the golden horseshoe, which represents RSU SU, with subtle emerald green details – symbolizes direction and movement, while the shimmer in the background reflects continuous growth and bright achievements. The design of the RSU SU Annual Awards ceremony is not just a visual element – it is a symbol for all those who, with their work, energy, and passion, create a better student environment.
RSU International Student Conference in Health and Social Sciences
From an article about bees to the RSU Faculty of Pharmacy Study and Research Centre, to visual material that left no one indifferent, neither students nor bee-related businesses, the bee became the unifying element of the conference within half a year, symbolizing every student, SU member, researcher, and ISC organizer as a symbol of hard, persistent work, innovation, and collaboration. The crocheted and very endearing bees made by ISC PR team were visible in every project video, visual, and even at the closing ceremony on stage. Highlighting Riga as the conference's host city, this year the decision was made in favor of Art Nouveau architecture. The facade of the Eisenstein building shone in the ISC visuals together with the bees, once again confirming that Riga is indeed the Art Nouveau capital of Europe. The ISC visual identity was admired by International Conference participants and RSU staff. The visual material, which originated from an article about beehives sent by the project manager and RSU academic staff research on honey, and which was then successfully and very professionally interpreted by the ISC PR team – this is how the visual material was created, which is still being talked about even after the project's completion.
Brain freeze
The Brain Freeze visual material was a pleasant surprise – it offered a unique approach and engaging involvement that made the event dynamic and captivating. Its originality, which differed from the usual formats, was particularly outstanding. The active participation of attendees and the large number of visitors confirmed that the event was well-received. As it was the first event of its kind, it created a sense of freshness and novelty. It was pleasing to see a new visual identity that gave the event a unique character. Overall – a creative and successful experience that will definitely be remembered.
RSU SU
"Christmas Masquerade"
The RSU SU "Christmas Masquerade" visual design embodies elegance, mystery, and a festive feeling. The emerald green fabric background, sprinkled with gold confetti and glitter, creates a sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere suitable for a masquerade theme. The central accent is an exquisite gold mask with delicate ornaments, symbolizing mysticism and excitement – feelings that prevail in masquerades.
The chosen typography with flowing, shiny letters adds an air of exclusivity and refinement to the event, while the contrasting white letters ensure clear and easily digestible information. This design embodies the magic of a masquerade – the opportunity to hide behind a mask for one evening and indulge in celebrations. Overall, the visual material effectively invites you to an unforgettable and sophisticated evening that combines tradition, mystery, and festive joy.
